개요
all-in-on capturing tool for the visual part, the entire page, or a selective area with auto-scrolling and editing supportTake screenshots from the active tab with just two clicks. You can take a screenshot from a portion of the page, the visual viewport, or even the entire page if the page has vertical and horizontal scroll bars. The captured image can then be saved into the default download directory or get placed in the clipboard. Or you can request to open the image in an online paint editor. Currently, this extension uses JSPaint, which is a web-based replica of MS Paint. Once the editor is loaded, it can work offline, so you can still edit your images even when there is no internet connection.
This extension adds a toolbar button to the browser's action area. Clicking on this button opens a popup window that contains three options:
1. "Capture Entire Screen"
2. "Capture Visual Part"
3. "Capture a Portion"
These items are also added to the right-click context menu of the page for easy access.
Notes:
1. If the page size is bigger than your window size and the "Capture Entire Screen" option is selected, the extension needs to scroll the entire page to capture different parts and merge these parts to generate a single image from the entire page. This takes a few seconds to complete.
2. The resolution of the taken image depends on the screen resolution. For instance, if you have a 4K display (like Retina displays), the image resolution is at least four times better than a normal display.
3. To have a compatible image, this extension stores all the captured screenshots in PNG format. This format is best supported by various devices.
4. This extension does NOT add watermarks to the captured image. This is a free and open-source project.
